The Clinton School’s Student Government Association has 5 permanent and 2 ad-hoc committees.

 
 
 

Community Service Committee

Led by the Vice President of Community Relations, the Community Service Committee collaborates with local organizations offering students opportunities to learn and engage with nonprofit organizations and volunteer at service-based events through the community.

Students that complete an additional 50 hours of community service during their enrollment at the Clinton School are recognized for their commitment to public service with a SGA Community Service Award & Graduation Cord.

 
 
 
 

Social Affairs Committee

Led by the Vice President of Community Relations, the Social Affairs Committee organizes multiple activities throughout the year encouraging students to participate in local events and festivals and experience Arkansas’s natural beauty together.

 
 
 
 

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee

Led by the DEI Chair, the DEI Committee organizes events centered on increasing, both, awareness and understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility related concerns for students at the Clinton School and community members at large.

The DEI Chair and Committee organize an annual Spring Unity Fest bringing together the Clinton School network and community to raise awareness on a specific topic.

 
 
 
 

International Student Committee

Led by the International Student Councilor, the International Student Committee plans creative activities geared towards appreciating the diverse cultures and traditions of Clinton School students and Little Rock, Arkansas.

 
 
 
 

Health & Wellness Committee

An adhoc committee, the Health & Wellness Committee becomes active via a majority vote by the SGA Executive Board. This committee is invited to organize events and advocate for student needs related to mental and physical health and wellness. Previous committee activities have included: yoga classes, bimonthly lists of healthy-food suggestions, etc.

 
 
 

Governance Committee

Led by the Governance Chair, the Governance Committee is responsible for completing an annual review of the SGA’s constitution, organizing and filing amendments and presenting proposed changes to student body for voting, as needed.

 
 
 

Social Entrepreneurship Committee (SEC)

An adhoc committee led by the Social Entrepreneurship Committee Co-chairs, the Social Entrepreneurship Committee (SEC) brings the community together to collaborate and uncover sustainable business ideas targeting public service and social impact.
