Purpose of the Social Entrepreneurship Committee

The Social Entrepreneurship Committee (SEC) is a hybrid committee that involves both Clinton School students and community stakeholders. We strive to build and sustain a culture of social entrepreneurship in central Arkansas focused on connecting people and resources. This page serves as a resource for all of our events and houses a repository of local entrepreneurship resources in Arkansas. Follow us on Facebook!

The Social Entrepreneurship Committee of the Clinton School of Public Service, ReMix Ideas, and the Urban League of Arkansas hosted a community event on April 21, 2022 focused on building a more equitable and inclusive Arkansas through innovation and social entrepreneurship. Special thanks to the panel discussion speakers: Anthony Young (President of Southern Bancorp Community Partners), Jessica Andrews (Social Innovation Program Manager at the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Arkansas), Shafin Khan (Vice President of External Affairs and Innovation at the University of New Orleans Research Foundation), and Ryan Ramkhelawan (Vice President of Venture Development at Start Co.). There were nearly 50 guests in person and 20 online attendees. Here is a link to the recording.
